Ahhh tranquillity…

2023 has arrived and I have been quietly plodding away in the background bringing our new property back to a visual delight. The 1.6 hectare property that my husband Kent and I brought 8 months ago was a bit neglected after not really being lived in for nearly a year. Everything outside was overgrown and simply needed some tender loving care. Not everyone enjoys the great outdoors and the work that goes into working with nature to provide a visual and sensory feast, but I do.

After 20 years of teaching yoga classes I was being called to change the direction in my life and to embrace all of the skills i have accumulated so far in my life. Moving to a more rural lifestyle was part of this change after living in Wellington for 59 years. My focus has changed and I wanted to find more balance in my lifestyle as my Wellington lifestyle kept leading me onto the merry go round of life which felt challenging at times to step off.
